By Christmas I had saved enough money for a round trip home, Denton to Boston on a Greyhound bus. After two years and 27 girl friends the United States Army came calling after which I returned to Denton for more friends and a college degree. I cherish every moment of it and remain an ardent supporter of my beloved North Texas.
